Winter Sowing Without Plastic
2027
Saturday January 16, 2027 at 1:00 pm
To ensure ample workspace and in-depth conversation, the workshop is limited to a small group, so early registration is encouraged.
Workshop Description
Workshop will cover the process and benefits of winter sowing native seeds, as well as some vegetable and flower seed. We will also cover various options for setting up a successful, plastic-free winter sowing area in your own space.
Native seeds used for the workshop are grown and harvested in Concord MA, providing growers with seed adapted to our specific local growing conditions.
Workshop registration includes the purchase of take-home materials, including seed, organic approved soil, vermiculite, clay pots, seed, burlap fabric for heavy rain protection, and metal mesh for predator proofing.
All experience levels from beginning gardeners to experienced growers are welcome!
