Workshop Description
The workshop theme is Sustainably Simple and Classic. Participants will learn to hand-tie holiday wreaths using a variety of 100% natural, organically grown plant materials, including bay and magnolia leaves as well as dried seed heads, flowers, and fruit. Special accent materials are reserved for workshops only. The wreath bases are handmade from invasive bittersweet vines cleared from our farm. Douglas Fir greenery sourced from a naturally managed christmas tree forest in western MA.
All materials will be provided, though attendees are welcome to bring their own garden cuttings for a personal touch. Finished wreaths will measure approximately 22–24 inches and will last through the holiday season with proper care (instructions provided).
After the holidays, the wreaths can be composted as-is—no disassembly needed aside from removing the hanging ribbon.
